The person Elsa Johnson hated most was Anthony Johnson, who had been pressing her as the guardian.

Recalling the scene of seeing Anthony for the first time, Elsa still felt scared.

Because Anthony pointed a gun at Elsa at that time, and she was only five years old.

When they met again after two years, he grabbed her neck.

It was the darkest night in Elsa's memory. There was no light in the whole villa, and her mother came in a hurry to wake her up from her dream.

Elsa's mother did not even dress Elsa up but randomly put a coat on her.

Witnessing her mother's panic, Elsa suddenly sobered up.

She vaguely guessed that her mother's gift was just an excuse and that the real purpose was to ask for help!

Her mother then called a taxi and sent her to Anthony's place overnight.

There were many people at Anthony's house, and they seemed to be celebrating his birthday.

As soon as they met, Anthony squatted down and grabbed her neck.

Even so, she stood bravely in front of him and did not step back.

Elsa knew she had to hand the stuff in her hand to Anthony as he was the only person who could save her parents.

As Elsa's Dad had once saved him, he would undoubtedly nod to reciprocate the favor.

"Brother..." Elsa called him timidly.

The slightly trembling cry made Anthony slowly get his hands off Elsa's neck.

She handed the box given by her mother to Anthony, and he took out a letter from it.

After reading the letter, his face froze, and the look in his eyes became grave.

Elsa initially thought Anthony would convene some people and go to save her parents immediately. Unexpectedly, he took her to a bedroom for resting instead of making any move to come to her parents' help.

For the following three days, Elsa had been locked up in the house, and Anthony did not show any intention of saving her parents.

No matter how Elsa cried and begged him, Anthony remained indifferent.

The voice of Nola Graham, Elsa's best friend, pulled the latter back from her memory of ten years ago to reality.

It was Nola's birthday this day, and Nola invited some of her friends out for dinner.

Nola guessed Elsa was in a lousy mood as she remained silent, proposing, "Elsa, join us for truth or dare."

Suddenly, a girl interjected, "Elsa, dare you to fetch a men's belt from the private dining room?"

Perhaps because the others on the scene were a little drunk, they followed the girl's suggestion to kick up a fuss by echoing, "Fetch a men's belt! Fetch a men's belt!"

"Give Elsa a break!" Nola was slightly irritated.

Although it was just a game, fetching a men's belt was going too far.

"Come on, Nola, it's your birthday. Why so serious? Let's have some fun. Otherwise, it's too boring!"

Those who were tipsy chimed in with the speaker, "Exactly."

To not embarrass Nola, Elsa had to nod her head in agreement.

"That's alright. I'll accept the challenge." With that, Elsa nerved herself to walk out of the room.

How could any man say yes to give his belt to her? Elsa told herself inwardly, "Never mind. It's just a ridiculous game. No one will take it seriously."

The private dining room next-door was silent, and Elsa, therefore, felt embarrassed to intrude.

She asked timidly, "Excuse me. Can anyone give me his men's belt?"

All the people sitting in the room were male, and they heard Elsa's words clearly as it was quiet.

The man sitting in the corner raised his head slowly when he heard Elsa's voice.

He instantly realized that it was from Elsa!

Elsa did not notice the cold eyes coming from the corner.

"You want a men's belt? Come and get mine!"

Anthony growled, his eyes staring at the doorway intently. Apparently, he wanted to teach the girl a lesson right away.

Anthony did not expect to see Elsa at this kind of place after his being away from home for just a few days.

Besides, she was asking for a man's belt!

Elsa failed to identify Anthony's voice as it became hoarse due to his anger. After getting close to the man, she eventually recognized him.

She asked in surprise, "What are you doing here?"

"I am the one who should ask this question!" Anthony stared hard at Elsa, then grabbed her wrist to pull her into his arms.

Due to the drag, Elsa lost her balance and sat astride his legs with one hand landed on his sturdy shoulder.

The man placed Elsa's hand on the belt around his waist, saying, "Don't you want a belt? Get mine!"

The others on the spot were too stunned to speak.

For years, they had never seen Anthony took the initiative to speak to a female or even spared an extra glance at one.

This time, he actually had intimate physical contact with a strange girl in public!

Anthony's angry forehead was bursting with blue veins. Still, he could not bear to be too harsh on Elsa.

"You let me go!" Elsa tried to stand up, but the man immediately pressed her onto his legs again.

Anthony pinched Elsa's cheek to force her to look into his eyes, roaring, "Did you forget how old you are? How dare you come to this kind of place and ask for a men's belt? What else are you going to do?"

Even though Anthony was furious, he controlled his strength so that Elsa would not get hurt nor get away from him.

"It's none of your business. Leave me alone!" The young woman kept struggling in vain.

Compared with Anthony's, her strength was too weak to free herself from his grip.

Anthony thundered again, "They entrusted you to me! "

He was referring to Elsa's late biological parents.

All the other men sitting in the room shuddered with fear at Anthony's growl, even worrying about the reckless girl.

Elsa remained unmoved in front of the angry man, and in fact, she never had a trace of fear for Anthony. "They are gone!"

Anthony growled, "That's why I'm more qualified to take care of you."

Elsa was not born at that time. Anthony joined the family before her and became her brother in name.

Three years later, Elsa was born. Only he knew how happy he was back then.

When they officially met for the first time, Elsa was already five years old. Anthony gave her the gun he had been carrying with him for self-defense, but she was scared to cry.

He panicked and thought it was his fault.

After that, he never showed up before Elsa again but hid in corners where Elsa could not notice and secretly observed her.

Two years later, Elsa took the initiative to come to him, and he was incredibly excited.

Noticing the dust upon her neck, Anthony considerately volunteered to clean it up for her.

When Elsa called him "brother," he inwardly congratulated himself for her remembering him.

However, when he read the letter he took out of the box, he instantly became distressed.

Because it was a note saying the final good-bye.

He sent many people to look for Elsa's parents, but it was too late.

For Elsa's safety, he protected her closely and did not allow her to attend the funeral.

He decided to leave the training camp so that he could stay by Elsa's side.

Anthony gritted his teeth and remained silent for a good while, then said, "Go home with me!"

With that, he walked outwards, holding Elsa's wrist.

The others left in the private dining room stared at each other in surprise. They never saw Anthony, such a powerful man, being silenced by a young woman before.

Thanks to Anthony's great strength, the more Elsa struggled, the more painful her wrist felt.

"Let me go! Anthony, get off me!"

For ten years, Elsa called the man by his name regardless of the age gap between them and never feared him in the least.

"Anthony! You let go!" They were deadlocked in front of the vehicle as Elsa refused to get in.

As Anthony's patience was exhausted, he picked the girl up and directly put her into the car.

Inside the vehicle, Anthony held Elsa tightly in his arms.

"You bastard!" Elsa tried her best to congregate her strength and bit the man hard on the back of his hand.

He did not care about the bite at all but gave a sidelong glance at the shoes Elsa was wearing.

A few days ago, he overheard Elsa say that the shoes made her feet hurt. Then why did she put them on again?

Elsa kept biting the man for a good while. Still, Anthony did not respond to her as if he could not feel the pain. Helplessly, the woman had to give up.

As she lifted her head, she saw his hand reaching for her feet. Before she could react, the shoes were taken off and thrown out of the car window by the man.

"What the hell are you doing?" That was Elsa's favorite pair of shoes. How could Anthony throw them away like this?

The man stretched out his hand to touch Elsa's feet, which had been worn out.

As her beloved shoes were discarded, Elsa eventually could not bear it but threw her fists at Anthony's sturdy chest, roaring, "Why did you throw them away?"

Anthony did not explain himself and let the woman toss about in his arms.

Elsa's fists could not hurt the man at all. However, as the woman's hands accidentally touched his private parts, his own physical reaction somewhat stunned Anthony.

He did not expect himself to have a sexual urge against Elsa.

Given no other choice, Anthony had to stop Elsa's movements.

As the man lowered his head, he noticed tears welling up in Elsa's eyes. The longing in his heart was immediately replaced by guilt.

He hurriedly held her in his arms, stroking her back to soothe her.

Elsa's tears were his Achilles heel.

The woman's aggrieved look in her eyes made Anthony lose his position. He barely could maintain his usual grave countenance.

"Why did you wear those shoes again?" Anthony tried to keep his voice down to make himself appear less fierce.

Elsa kept wearing them even though they hurt her feet. Presumably, if he did not throw them away, she would put them on again in the future.

Feeling Anthony's strength relaxed a lot, Elsa pushed away his hands, which were trapping her. "I'd love to!"

Elsa clung to the car door, holding her knees with anger.

"Why did you ask for a men's belt?" Anthony asked. As long as Elsa did not get hurt, it was no big deal that she hung out with her friends.

However, it was unbearable that she actually asked for a men's belt.

Elsa deliberately dodged Anthony's furious gaze. "It's none of your business!"

"Elsa!" Anthony shouted, pulling the girl's arm to force her to face him. "I allow you to be a rebel! But this kind of thing shall never happen again!"

This was the most significant concession Anthony could make and his last connivance of Elsa.

The man's performance aroused Elsa's anger. Then, she shouted at him, crossly, "Who are you to say that to me? What does it matter to you that I asked for a men's belt?"

Due to his fury, Anthony's hand strength increased slightly.

"What does it matter to me? Aren't all the troubles you caused in the past ten years settled by me?"

No matter how massive those troubles were, he had never blamed Elsa in the least.

If the girl kept running wild, it would be too late to regret if anything unwanted happened to her. The last thing Anthony wanted to see was Elsa got hurt.

If it were not him in the private dining room this night, who could guarantee that nothing unpleasant would occur?

Elsa did not reply to him. The arm being held by the man was aching that she just wanted to get rid of his grip.

Noticing Elsa's painful expression, Anthony realized that he was wielding too much strength, then hurried to relax his grip on her.

Because of this accident, Elsa was assigned two bodyguards she could not get rid of since that night.

They stood by her side while she had a meal and guarded outside the door while she went to bed.

One day later, Elsa decided she could not take it anymore and that she had to free herself from them before the next school term began.

Pointing at the two expressionless bouncers standing behind her, Elsa asked angrily, "Anthony, can you keep them away from me?"

Anthony ignored the woman's words, pointing at a heap of boxes on the table, and said in a calm voice, "These are all for you."

Looking at those boxes in front of her, Elsa actually had some expectations inside.

Could it be that Anthony felt sorry for throwing away her shoes and wanted to make it up for her?

Curiously, she opened one box and found a men's belt inside.

Anthony added solemnly, "You wanted men's belts, don't you? Take all of them!"

Elsa could not believe that all the boxes piled up before her contained men's belts!
